Numero Uno

Hello everybody. Im Vignesh Venkatesan. A grass-eating teenager, for two-thirds of the year, I loiter around the greens of National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. The remaining third is spent in greener pastures, luxuriously at Malleshwaram, the happening area, Bangalore. A product from BASE factory, and inmate of NPS, have seen the Garden City trying really hard to shed its tag to acquire a new ones, since 1999.

Moving on, intros apart, what made me take up this phenomenon of blogging? Two main factors – one, the number of friends and acquaintances especially from college who were jobless enough to put their thoughts into this virtual world through blogs, and secondly, this was a solution for me to put into writing all sorts of ideas, thoughts and etc. that were swimming in my cranium, more due to the lack of a physical book or something similar to reflect upon.

Plans for this blog? Well not very precisely charted out, but yes, I hope that atleast for these two months, where I’m blessed with non-patience testing internet speeds, frequency of blogging willl be high. Post that, its upto the admin, atmosphere, perseverance and yes, feedback. Content wise, arbit thoughts, arbit idea(l)s, arbit news snippets, arbit incidents, arbit experiences, arbit fundae, arbit arbitrary stuff. Basically, arbit.

Frankly, brevity isn't my forte. Well, some concrete stuff’ll be there. This isn’t some junk blog. There’ll be that “odd” serious moment. Might sound like some philosophical rambling, but yes, in my opinion, apart from sleep, staring into nothingness and giving your thoughts a free leash is the best pastime. Also, your humour is welcome, so is sarcasm, ideas, opinions, comments and etc. Simply put, fuel for me to write.

Here I officially begin my blogging career, the road which millions worldwide have tread upon, some still ambling towards the finish line, while others sprinting to the finish line. I don’t know which of those paths to take, but I just hope the time spent here will be fun-filled, informative, productive, entertaining, and overall, worth the time spent.
